On the packaging of tourism commodities in China (Part 1)

Abstract: at present, China's tourism industry generally does not pay attention to the packaging of tourism commodities. inspired by the above point of view, the author believes that tourism commodities are designed for tourists, purchased by tourists for tourism or in the process of tourism, and physical commodities with tourism cultural connotation

from this concept, we can see that tourism commodities do not necessarily have local characteristics, as long as they have tourism cultural characteristics

Low grade tourism goods are simple in workmanship and rarely give people a sense of beauty. The high-end tourism commodities better reflect the regional cultural connotation, with exquisite production and high craft aesthetic value. Medium grade tourism commodities are between the two. At present, the domestic market is dominated by medium and low-grade tourism commodities. With the improvement of tourists' requirements, the upscale tourism commodities is a major development trend

4) according to the tourists' purchase purpose, it can be divided into gift, collection, practical and multi-purpose tourism commodities. The former requires tourism commodities to be of high quality and low price, especially the packaging

5) according to the exhaustibility of tourism commodities in use, they can be divided into consumptive tourism commodities and persistent tourism commodities. The former has significant physical losses in use, so protective development should be emphasized and sustainability pursued. The latter emphasizes the spiritual use value, and the physical loss is not obvious. It has high collection value and commemorative significance, and requires distinctive features and exquisite workmanship
